A Walk To Remember
So most of you have probably seen the movie, A Walk to Remember once or twice. I haven't, but I just finished the book by Nicholas Sparks. It was an awesome book, so soon i might get the movie!
The book starts with Landon's description of 1958, the year he fell in love with Jamie Sullivan. Jamie was an average looking girl, kind to everyone, and she was the pastors daughter. Landon had signed up for Drama class senior year to try to take an easy class. But Jamie, who plays the Angel, convinves him to play her father in the play. She asks him after he takes her to the homecoming dance. Landon didn't want to, but since he was the president of the school he thought he had to go. (It turns out he didn't.) Landon continues to hang out with Jamie, and before he knows it, he falls in love. And Jamie is sick, very sick.
What happens to Jamie and Landon? Read the book to find out!
Buy it.
Read some.

Freak Show
Sorry its been so long, but it took me a while to finish this book! Freak Show by James St. James is a book about a teenage drag queen, Billy Bloom and his troubles of going to a private school in Florida, where there are many rednecks. Billy is almost friendless, (he does have blah blah blah) until most of the football team beats him to a pulp. (on the day that Billy wears full drag to school.) At the hospital, he becomes really close to Flip Kelly, all around big man on campus. Billy has a huge crush on Flip, and one day he goes for it. He kisses him. And not only is it a kiss, but more like making out. Flip throws Billy off of himself only when the boat of tourists on the river catch the boys mid-make out. Flip and Billy are no longer friends. But Billy still has blah blah blah, (or Mary Jane McAfferty as he later finds out,) and they decide that Billy should run for Homecoming Queen. You'll have to read the book to find out if Billy is Homecoming Queen, if the Manatees win the big football game, and if Billy and Flip have their fairytail ending.
I would definitely recommend this book to anybody who is a drag queen, who is in high shcool and anyone who just ABSOLUTELY LOVES FABULOUSNESS! You can relate to Billy and his many problems as a Senior, with the guy he likes, the homecoming queen campaign, and everything else he has to deal with.

Guyaholic
Guyaholic by Carolyn Mackler is the story of V. Valentine and her love life. V (Vivienne, but everybody calls her V.) has been living with her grandparnets for a year and a half. Her mother left her there while she ran away to Costa Rica with her surfer boyfriend. V's mother had V when she was only 19. V never gets into relationsips because of this. She has been hooking up with Sam for a couple of months. Sam wants to go out with her, but shes afraid of commitment. When she "cheats" on Sam and his sister catches her in the act, V feels a sadness like never before. She decides to drive out to see her mother in San Antonio, Texas. Along the way, V learns many things. I won't ruin the book for you, though!
This book is great for anyone. You will feel like you know V and you can feel her pain. I absolutly positively loved it.

Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac
Naomi should have picked tails. Since she picked heads, she had to go back and get the yearbook camera. But she picked heads, and she fell on her head. After that, she lost all her memory since 6th grade. She doesn't remember her best friend, Will, or her boyfriend, Ace (or James, with his past...) She doesn't remember her parents divorce. She dosen't remember the French that she had taken for 3 years before her fall. She does remember math and science, though...
While writing a book about choices, Gabrielle Zevin makes the right ones. This book is really easy to relate to if you have been through high school or are in high school now. It was awesome.
