You, Maybe

You, Maybe by Rachel Vail was an amazing book. It was about a girl named Josie and her relationship with the big man on campus, Carson Gold. Josie is a sophomore as Carson is a senior. Josie wants what they have to at first be just random make out sessions, but Carson convinces her to be his girlfriend. Josie would also make out with Michael, who is her next door neighbor and best guy friend forever. After showing up at Carson's house for a football party in her clown suit (she is a clown at kids parties), she dumps Michael for Carson, and lives the high life. She falls in love with Carson, so much that she gives him her great grandmother's diamond earing that she never takes out. She tells him that she loves him... but... somehow, he falls in love with his ex girlfriend again.

Across The Universe / Hairspray

Do you love the beetles like i do? If you do, then you've already seen across the universe two or more times. A movie based on Beetles songs, and it works. They were able to create a story line around lyrics. Its a musical, only better since you already know the songs. The characters include Jude, Lucy, Max, Sadie, and Prudence. All of there names and some others were part of the beetles songs. The movie may be odd at times, but still. It rocked. (literally! ha.) We all should go buy it right when it hits the racks. Just like we should grab Hairspray when it is on DVD. This is the only movie that Zac Efron is accually good in. (sorry zac, but in the HSM series, I felt that your acting was lacking. But i love them anyways!!) Nikki Blonski in her breakout role is awesome. She got to work with some amazing actors too! I have heard though, go see the Broadway show. it is said to be even more amazing then the movie.

The bottome line is, buy these movies since they are so awesome!!

Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac

Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin is a great read.
Naomi should have picked tails. Since she picked heads, she had to go back and get the yearbook camera. But she picked heads, and she fell
on her head. After that, she lost all her memory since 6th grade. She doesn't remember her best friend, Will, or her boyfriend, Ace (or James, with his past...) She doesn't remember her parents divorce. She dosen't remember the French that she had taken for 3 years before her fall. She does remember math and science, though...
While writing a book about choices, Gabrielle Zevin makes the right ones. This book is really easy to relate to if you have been through high school or are in high school now. It was awesome.
